Prayer Chain

The “Prayer Chain” was started back in January 1990 by Mary Holtgraver. Junie Holtgraver, her son, was diagnosed with cancer and several churches within the area asked if they could put him on their “prayer chain”. Junie is a cancer survivor. Mary wanted to get a Prayer Chain started for our church so she went to Father Andalikiewiez, and asked permission to start a “prayer chain”, of which he gladly gave and put her in charge. The Prayer Chain was opened to all, not just Catholics. Anyone can be put on the Prayer Chain. This is not just for medical reasons. Anyone that needs extra prayers for any reason can be put on the list. Quite a legacy Mary created that helps so many. Please contact the the office at [email protected] or 913.856.7781.
